The Convatec Granugel 15g Gel (S129) is a sterile, water-based hydrocolloid gel used for managing both superficial and deep acute and chronic wounds, available as a single unit. It is designed to promote moist wound healing and aid gentle autolytic debridement

Product Details Type: Amorphous hydrogel (water-based polymer gel) containing hydrocolloid powders. Function: Balances moisture in the wound by either absorbing or donating fluid, creating an optimal humid environment for healing. It rehydrates dry necrotic tissue and stimulates autolysis to remove dead tissue and slough. Usability: The gel is slightly adhesive, making it easy to apply to awkward areas and remaining on the wound for several days. Indications: For use on pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, partial-thickness burns, postoperative wounds, leg ulcers, and other sloughy or dry wounds. Application: Apply a thin layer into the wound bed and cover with an appropriate secondary dressing like a foam or film dressing to maintain the moist environment
